Another one, I really wanted the 5.0, but there is plenty of options out there in the 41 to 45k range for new 2016 Lariats. I have looked everyday for four months at 6 different dealers through the SE. I knew their inventory better than they knew their inventory.

Cheapest super crew 2016 I can find 40,570

5.0 with a 3.31 though, but if you are looking at the 40k number, there is one out there.

BTW they don't negoatiate really well at Mullianx, they got creative with me, but they are no BS either. I was in and out in 1.5 hours and that was checking out my trade and driving my new truck.

I paid $52000 for my 16 Lariat 502 pack. That's CAD. New.reg price was $67000. waited 9 months for the large discounts. That's $38000 us dollars. Now I know why they made me sign a an agreement to not sell to U.S for 6 months. Love the truck! Buy a Lariat is my vote!

Used is not bad however the eco boost is so bad *** I can't lie. I traded in my used 5.0 fx2 2013 for a brand new lariat sport 4x4 with everything and it cost me like 65tax title license but absolutely love the eco boost. You can feel the power... and I love everything else about the truck haha. Can't beat new tbh.

For now, I'm pursuing the 2015. It is seeming like a solid deal and has already taken the initial depreciation hit. Plus it has all the bells and whistles which is way nice.

So that said, what specific things should I look out for / check over on the truck? I'm having a trusted mechanic complete a full pre-purchase inspection tomorrow and he is familiar with these trucks, but I'm sure many here can chime in as well.

Any thoughts on the "creak" that I heard when shifting from park to reverse and reverse to drive? Is that a potential issue with the plastic valve body spacer in the transmission?
