I'm trying to install after market running boards on my 2015 F150 Crew Cab. The hardware kit is useless, as my truck has pre - installed screws to attach the brackets. I have been unable to find nuts that fit on the pre-installed bolts. The brackets look like they will git nicely on the bolts.

This is most likely not a troll post, so don't be so mean. The forum now has a new feature demonstrated here that is causing these odd threads. The staff here is working with IB (forum owner) to figure out a better, more productive way to implement this. Until then, please just take it in stride and help to the extent that you can.

Interesting, so not logged in and ask a question and it creates a post?

Wellto answer the question, the studs are most likely a metric thread of 1.5 pitch, but the diameter will need to be measured.
