This is the hub I bought and according to my S21 and my son's pixel 4 both show fast charge. I haven't timed the charging but just going off what the phone screen shows.
The picture shows 2 USB-A ports but the one I received had 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C.

I have a 2016 f150 super crew with bench seat. I purchased the USB-c module with part number: LB5Z19A387B however it is smaller than the old module. Does anyone know the correct part number for the one for trucks with bench seats that sits in the dash? This one is meant for the trucks with center consoles. Also for what it's worth my Samsung galaxy S21 ultra shows fast charging when plugged in.
I also found an adaptor plate that may work, I'm just not sure if the dimensions are correct. It would save me the hassle of trying to resell this module and buying the correct one. I purchased from a dealer and I'm sure they won't take it back

I installed this module last week and now CarPlay is not working. Oddly enough, I can select my iPhone as a source and the music will play, but not actual CarPlay. Anyone have an idea on how to fix?
For those that switched to the USB-C did your apple carplay or android auto perform better since a USB-C has a higher data transfer rate than a USB-A? My android auto does a black screen from time to time no mater what cable I use so I thought t was a buffering/data transfer issue with the -A.
My phone displays quick charging messages when connected but I'm not sure how its possible. It is a mini USB port that plugs into the back of the port. I am not sure how you would get any faster transfer rates when the cable to it is mini USB.

The APIM uses USB 2.0 protocol. Changing the port doesn't change the USB protocol.
I installed the combo USB-A/USB-C module in my 2019 Lariat.
I used a Dremel to make the hole a little wider as the newer module was slightly larger than the stock dual USB-A module.
