USB interface

This is the one I bought. It does have USB-A and USB-C. It also lights up the normal blueish color. I haven't had a moments trouble out of it to this point some 6 months or so.

If it works w Android Auto its a win. I would like fast charging while also using Android Auto.

You can still use the old USB A cord on your iPhone 12. It just charges slower.

Anyone know if 1) iOS devices recognize this for USB PD/fast charge? And 2) if it will work with apple CarPlay on a Sync 3 retrofit (not 3.4)

Would be very nice to have fast-charge capabilities while using Apple CarPlay (just need a USB-C to Lightning cable)

Does anyone know if this one is only for models with the center console? Or will this work for models with the front bench seat as well?

It should work for any model that has the dual USB-A ports in it.

I just use one of these, it inserts pretty flush and has both USB-A & C ports. Available on Amazon.
