Your screen shot shows Cyan labs. Since you are using their stuff, did you go to their forum to ask them what is wrong?
But, just for SnG,
1. You can not install 3.4 on a system with 3.0 just by using the apps files. You have to reformat.
2. The file system for 3.0 is not compatible with 3.2 and higher, reformatting is the only way you can do it.
This post has a file with everything need to upgrade to 3.4 21020, NA 2.20 maps, new gracenotes, new nav voice and voice files. It does NOT have 3.4 21098. I will not recreate a 13gb file just for the apps file. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/upgra...0/#post6895701

Thank you again
UPDATE!!
Using the files from this post. All went excellent. Took a while close to an hour.... but fully updated and I forscan'd the seat icons and the picked explorer logo.
F150 needs a better Logo to choose from.
Thank you JRSBill!!!
Update- Found a bug. Rear Camera not displaying. Looks like I have to tweak Forscan. Its showing a truck in the top right hand side and just a black background . No video.
This is what I have and what is currently downloading. Anybody able to tell me what is happening or where I am at in the update process? Im clueless to sync and the “download completed” icon has popped up on start up the past few mornings. Thanks
Sooo my BIL in St. Louis ( who's not a member) who has a '16 Platinum with Nav tried to upgrade from 20351 to 21020 flowing the flow chart on page 1. He said it downgraded to 19200 (Folder 1) just fine and everything was working fine for a hour, he said then when he inserted the Folder 2A USB drive all was going good with the screen showing the Mustang GT etc, then after about 6 minutes he got a red screen with--- Error in 5U5t-14G381-ER.Tar.GZ : PKG-ERRO3. He said he disconnect his battery for about 12 hours last night but he still said everytime he starts his truck it is still showing the mustang gt etc.and saying insert usb stick. He downloaded all folders 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D.
If anybody has any idea on what the problem could be or how to get the APIM out of the down load mode it would help my weekend also lol TIA
When going from a version of 3.4 to another version of 3.4, you don't need to downgrade or do the entire thing, you only need the apps file. For his situation, all he needed to download was Folder 4. What he did, was to wipe the APIM when he did folder 2a and that is why it is at the Mustang screen asking for files.
He has it stuck in reformat loop. What he can do to fix this dilemma he got himself in is to go to the link mbrick posted. Have him download the entire package marked Full Package with 3.4 21020. Put it on a USB stick and the installation should take over and reinstall EVERYTHING to the APIM.
Thank you mbrick and JRSBILL! Hopefully this does the trick to fix his problem and he joins the forum and quits spot reading. Just to make sure when he reads this that all he needs to download from that entire post is Full Package with 3.4 21020? This will save me time explaining this.
My question is since it seems that 21020 isn't XM friendly, what would I download to go from 20351 to 21098? From what I have read 21098 seems to have solved the bug found in 21020 . And thanks again on my BIL issue.
First he needs to use the full package for 3.4 21020 to get back up and running with 21020 and the latest nav, voice, etc since he formatted the APIM (instead of just a quick apps file update like he could have). Should take 25-35 min. Don't let the engine turn off.
Then he won't be on 20351. But he could downgrade to it later if needed, but he should be fine on 21098.
After that, he can use the 21098 application file only in the same post I linked to from JRSBill to update apps from 21020 to 21098.
It requires a correctly formatted autoinstall.lst instruction file to go along with it to tell the APIM to update the apps file only. If you want, you can task him with figuring that part out based on content in this thread :-)
