Default Upgrade for side mirror spot light

Does anyone know of an upgrade for the side mirror spot lights? I have talked with F150LEDs and they do not have an upgrade. Any ideas?

Sub'd. I use mine frequently, but wish they were quite a bit brighter. The pattern on them is horrible, as well. They just scatter random light in all directions.

That would be nice ! Those mirror spotlights are a big disappointment. Only used them a few times because they are pretty much useless. If they were better & brighter I know they would be used more often. Way back in Jan 2017 when I first got my truck I posted a comment about how pitiful they were.

WTF are you guys using your mirror spots for anyway? Deer spot-lighting? I've got 'em on my '18 XL with tow mirrors and they light up the entire inside of my garage when I open the doors. The tailgate rear spot lights up an 8' area behind the truck, too. If they were any brighter, you could prolly weld with 'em!

I was actually quite pleased with my spotlights until I swapped my regular mirrors to tow mirrors. Tow mirrors are not nearly as bright as the standard mirrors and the LED's are not replaceable. They appear to be soldered to a circuit board.

Inside the garage they would light up everything, the walls reflect. But the spotlights don't come on when you open the doors, the puddle lights do.

I can’t see much use for the spotlights unless you disable the speed limiter. I tried using mine to find a house one night, but wasn’t willing to drive slow enough to keep them turned on. It’s silly, but I’m sure there would be a bunch of folks rolling down the highway with them on if Ford didn’t block it.

I want side lights to see deer or obstacles when turning. In particular there’s an s curve on the road I live on and I’ve encountered many deer that I couldn’t see until I straightened up and was a bit close for comfort.
