Is the upgrade from halogen to Oem led headlights worth it
Just wondering on those of you with a 15-17 that have upgraded from halogen headlights to oem led headlights if the light output justifies the upgrade/cost. I already did the bulb H9 bulb upgrade and that did help and now considering changing over to the oem led headlights but would only really want to consider it if the light output is that much better.

Best way to know is to drive both back to back at night. The reviews online show the F150 lights are considered poor no matter which ones. I do love my LEDs way better. Having auto high beams helps. I notice when turning on my fogs with LEDs not much improvement where as previously with halogens it was much better. YMMV

I would try the “easy headlight mod” thread first. Stupid cheap, easy, and effective.

I came from halogen headlights. I’ve also had ANZO, OEM factory LEDS, and now Morimoto
As far as performance I would rank
1) Morimoto
2) Factory LEDs
3)ANZO with led bulbs
4) halogens
the morimoto’s are superior compared to the others.

I’m in the minority and feel like my stock halogens are more than adequate, seem to light up the night just fine. Since everyone seems to complain about them so much I can only assume that I am naive and would love to see some aftermarket upgrades first hand. Because after all, who doesn’t want to upgrade their truck?
