So the base model APIM harness reaches just fine for the MFT APIM...thats good to know. Then it can be done, its just like the Mustang setup then. Just have to rewire things, use the correct bezel (btw the bezel has the VIN programmed into it), add the remaining MFT hardware and fine tune programming.

correct. I followed the wire diagram posted on the mustang forum. Figured since the APIM is switchable from one make to another the pin location should be the same. I think there was only 2 wires that didn't match the color diagram but I just used the pin moves. Thanks for pointing me into the right direction. With the bezel having the old vin will that effect anything? Thanks again

I will tackle getting the bus and backup camera wiring done later this week. The date is off and the compass isn't showing up. So I have a little more research to do. Sat works, sync works, Ac controls work, fm and am are working. So far really happy with the purchase. Can't wait to get it all dialed in.
The date and compass are the same issue. You don't have the med speed can bus hooked up or it is hooked up wrong. That is what the GPS data comes in from via GPSM.

perfect. I haven't tapped into the can bus or swung over the camera leads as I need to get the wire harness repair parts.

I bought the bezel(FL3T-18E243-CDJ), APIM(FL3T-14F239-CE) Screen(not sure of part #) and ACM( FL3T-19C107-HG)The only thing my bezel has that my truck doesn't is the heated seat buttons. Doesn't really bother me. Not bad for 500 bucks. This is the non nav.

Got the WT-1000 wires and plugged up the backup camera and spliced in the can bus for the compass and date. Whole process took about an hour. Super happy with it.
