maybe its for the sync connect module?

Yeah you're right. Just wasn't sure if it was there on Lariat AND XLT models.

The connector numbers (e.g., C214) come from the wiring diagrams and can be referenced to the actual connector view which shows the pin-outs and in some cases the Ford part number. C214 is a connector for Crew Chief.

You can get access from the Motorcraft site but it's ridiculously expensive (IMHO). A 72 hour subscription is $21.95. That gives you access to the whole manual, the OASIS report on your truck, TSB and SSN info for your particular VIN and a bunch of other stuff.

You can also buy it on Ebay in digital form, or a PDF compiled by some company with cheap labor (details in this thread).

I bought the PDF and it is the real deal, but it doesn't have the nice cross-indexed hyperlinks that you get with the Motorcraft website. In this case you really get what you pay for.

EDIT: Attached are the 3 views of the back of the truck. Items that begin with C = connector, S = splice, G = ground.
Are any of the numbers wiring harness numbers? I dint see an eBay link in that other thread?

Harnesses begin with a number (e.g., 14405) and sometimes include a letter (e.g., 14B559).

And no, that other thread doesn't have links to Ebay. That thread discusses whether Haynes, Chilton, or Motorcraft are the best value for the money and it also discusses the PDF version (which I think is great for what I paid).

You'll need to search Ebay yourself. You can buy the manual from Helm on CD for like $180, and on Ebay you sometimes find cheaper versions.

If there happens to be a number on that connector you're interested in, please post it and I'll try to look it up.

13A409 I think is the tail light harness I'm interested in ( red looks like the tail lights, yellow the park aid, and turquoise the bed lighting ), thank you!
