Me too. I just can't justify taking the loss on selling these tires before they're worn. They work so well I'll keep them till they're done.

They came on my new truck too. I liked the look of them but was concerned about noise and handling. So far, I'm very happy with them. They are very quiet on the highway. No snow for me (Central Florida), only some rain. So far, so good.

I am really happy with mine. They are surprisingly good for an OEM tire. Light years better than my Michelin Ltx A/s.

The snow performance may seem good if you have not been running a dedicated snow tire. However in comparison to that they are sadly lacking. I have been spoilt a bit as I have been running Yokohama !G51s on 20inch wheels on my 14 FX4. My 16 lariat which i picked uop a few weeks ago came on the 20inch hancooks. Well, since we have had a bumper snow year in tahoe this year I have been blown away by the traction, stability and braking performance of the Yokos - hands down the BEST snow tire I have used, including several different Blizzaks, I-pikes, Firestone etc. It just happened that we got another dump the day after i picked up the 16, before I had swapped the wheels over, and, well, i found i was hanging on, using manual shift, the ABS was kicking in etc, whereas on the Yokos (and in the same 4H setting) I had hardly even noticed snow on the road!
But, it is certainly better than the Pirelli ATRs that i put back on the 14, they felt downright scary after the Yokos when i drove it down to the dealership!

You are right. The Hankooks are OK in the snow but no replacement for a real snow tire.

Had 18"Goodyears on my new 2013 STX 4 Scab, only got about 24,000 out of them and I didn't think they rode well from new.. Replaced them with Hankooks and had 20,000 on them when truck was totaled. But at 20000 they probably had another 30000 left on them and ride and noise level was superior to Goodyears. My 2015 Screw FX4. Has Goodyears that will be replaced with Hankooks.

For sure they are no snow tire. My point as the OP is that I'm amazed at the quality of the tires from factory. Usually you get some welfare grade Mechlins. It's a good on Ford from my standpoint.

I had to take my truck in for some leather work on a snowy day. The dealer let me borrow another new truck while they worked on mine. I was used to the handling with my snows, and when I drove onto the road, got a "whoa, Nellie" moment as their truck slid around. I had to really trim back my traction expectations. That was a direct A-B comparison, minutes apart in the same conditions, same vehicle. Sure, having lots of extra tires around is a pain, but I think it's worth it.
Didn't I read somewhere that the Dynapro was a joint development with Ford and Hankook? I don't know what difference an F150's tire needs are vs another truck, but it sounds impressive.
