Still deciding on wheel/tire combo, lift/level, exhaust, and possibly break system. Not sure if people are doing Brembo packages on these but I'm interested none the less. Anyways, I'm stoked.

 

Really not a fan of the blacked out emblems, just looks like you took a rattle can to them (although I know they are paint matched).

 

Yeah, I really wanted to inlay a color, but I didnt know what I want to go with. Likely match something down the road. The first step would have been black anyway, so the thought process was black for now and add later. It was a tough choice but I just went with it.

 

Love the color matched grill. I want to do that to my grill and bumpers.. Just need to find someone that will do it and not try to gouge me on pricing. Went to local Ford shop they wouldn't even do it they said, nope not possible gotta order new. I called my dealer they said of course we can but we'll need your truck for at least a few days. I'm also looking to buy wheels and running boards like yours.

Thanks! It was a bit pricy (luckily they are family friends) and took about a week but I think in the long run its worth the week of absence. The reason it took him so long is because most of the components he painted needed to be completely disassembled (due to cameras and whatnot). He also found the sections of the grill/bumper where different materials meet to be somewhat challenging. If you are willing to move a bit on price/time I'm sure you can find somewhat up to it .

 

Ugh! The Tuxedo Black looks amazing! I just can't keep the clean, so I ended up ordering Silver.

 

Those FX-4 Stickers are $90.00 ea.?? when you get tired of the Black.

 

Different accent colors on the truck give it contrast and accentuate certain details. Blacking everything out removes all of the truck detail and character. I really dislike it.

Agreed. I can totally get behind taking off the stickers but I think the emblems themselves look nice, at least the front/rear Ford ovals and the F-150 badges on the fenders.
