Default Tuxedo Black

Is it hard to maintain? Looks like all the metallic would help, also is it much hotter in the summer?

I just sold my white f150 and purchased a 2014 tuxedo black FX4. It is just as hard to keep clean.

Looks great when clean, but white could be dirty and still look clean from a distance.

I currently have a tuxedo black 13' f150...all the metallic in the paint does help a lot with hiding light scratches and swirl marks when in direct sunlight. I love the way it looks when it's clean but I think I'm going to steer clear of black when I get a 15' later this year. Thinking about silver or magnetic gray.

My lariat on order is black. First ever black vehicle. I'm anticipating a monthly pass to the car wash and a good wax as mentioned above.

I really like the classic, clean look of the black with chrome.

I just picked up my Tuxedo Black 2015, I traded in a 2012 that was the same color. It's not the easiest color to keep up, but damn it's pretty. Lot's of washing, and thankfully the local body shop only charges $100 to polish/wax the entire truck. I've heard the expression "black isn't a color, it's a relationship", sometimes I think that's pretty accurate.

Wouldn't have it any other way. Tuxedo Black-image-1536568382.jpg 2010 Tuxedo Black-image-643046886.jpg 2015 Tuxedo Black-image-1634995493.jpg Here's the one my dealer was really pushing on me because he had it in inventory. He had to work to find the black one. I just couldn't do it.

I've owned 2 black trucks, one white/green two tone, one blue, and currently ignot silver. While the black is awesome when shined up, it would drive me nuts bc it showed dirt so quick.

My 2014 in silver is awesome. Looks great after a wash and I can go for weeks without washing it.

Black is black, hard to maintain. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow of my 2015. The tuxedo black does have metallic look to it and it almost looks like a hue of blue sparkles, It is amazing.
