I had a black Harley and that taught me no more black vehicles! I now have a Platinum white 2015 and after a week it still looks as clean as the day it was delivered.

My last truck was a black V6 XL '98 F150. Recently sold it. Love the color and looked sharp as hell when cleaned up, but as others have said, was difficult to keep clean.

I really like having a black truck and putting chrome all over it. However, I'm debating between the Tuxedo black and a silver magnetic/charcoal gray color. I think both look really good with chrome all over them.

If it ever stops snowing I could tell you about keeping a Tuxedo Black truck clean My wife's Fusion is Tuxedo, and now my 2015 F150 is. Seriously, yeah its a chore, but its no different than any other dark color IMHO.

I've had two white trucks, and yeah they look better longer, but they never look as good as a darker color when clean.

Someone on this forum once said "Tuxedo black isn't a color, it's a career choice". I personally prefer grey. Looks great clean, hides dirt fairly well.

I have had a Black 92 Explorer, 97 F150, 01 Excursion, 03 F250, 08 F350, Current is a 11 Dark Blue F350 and a 15 Guard Platinum is on order. If you are a clean vehicle nut as I am dark colors are no problem.

I love my Tuxedo Black truck. Regardless of the color of a vehicle, I always keep my vehicles immaculate. I find it no harder to keep clean, yet I believe black looks best and it's a timeless color as well, it never goes out of style.

California car duster, turtle-wax ice detail spray, and microfiber towels will keep tuxedo looking good all summer long with minimal effort. The winter is a different story though.....

The California Duster....how do you maintain it? Can it be washed? Do you need to re-apply the baked on wax it says it has on it?
Thx!

You just shake it off and put it back in its case. No need to do anything else, it actually seems to work better once it has some dust on it.
