Turned while in 4x4 on pavement...damage???

Like they said, not likely any damage. You CAN damage parts doing that but it isn’t going to happen from a few times. Plus usually the type of damage that would be caused from doing that (broken axles, CV joints, etc.) would come with a loud noise followed by a tow truck call. If your truck is fine now you didn’t hurt anything.
In addition, driving a lot on dry pavement in 'part time' 4x4 can have a cumulative degrading affect on drive line components eventually causing one of them to outright break.
Just don't make a habit of driving in 'part time' 4X4 on dry pavement.

My wife accidentally put my truck in 4x4 once. Turned the 4x4 **** instead of the heater ****. It was dry pavement, she was helping her daughter move. So not only was she in 4x4 on dry pavement, the truck was loaded down pretty heavy and she was making super sharp turns backing into the driveway. She called me and said she thought something was wrong with the truck as it was binding and the tires were squealing when she turned sharp. This had been going on all day before she called me. I knew right away what was going on.
Long story short, we put over 200,00 miles on that 2009 Ford F-150 and never had a problem.

It can do damage, but remember, these parts are meant to take the full power of the engine to move the truck, including up steep hills and towing. They're not exactly brittle parts. You should however still avoid it as much as possible.
