Default Tune on 2015 3.5 ecoboost

2015 F150 3.5 ecoboost Platinum.
I just installed my tune from Southern Speed Inc. This is by far the best tune and tuner I ever had. This is no joke. It's way better than stage 3 motor sports and better than Superchips Flashpaq.

My truck drives like a sports car. It's hella fast.

Yes they are the fastest tunes by far. Amazing how it transforms the truck.

Anybody had any issues with these tunes being too much and causing powertrain issues?

I am pretty sure this is the company that has the reputation of blowing 3.5's up. IIRC they disable or severely limit the knock sensor.

I could be wrong, but a quick search tells me I am not.

No worries. Unless Ford can prove with 100% certainty that the whacky high performance tune killed the engine - Ford has to honor the warranty and fix the mess. It's the law!!! They would never ever just state that the tune likely caused the issue after taking a 5min look at it and then put it back on you to go through arbitration if you disagree with their assessment (= months without a working vehicle before you lose in arbitration)

Ford could very easily say the tune caused it, deny the warranty work and force you to initiate legal action. Ford has many lawyers on staff that would put you through years of legal proceedings. Maybe you win, maybe you don't, but Ford has more to lose by agreeing to fix a tuned truck rather than deny it.

This is absolutely not true. Ford has a limited warranty- you should read it. A tune voids the warranty. The federal law people love to cite was intended to allow use of aftermarket parts that equate to oem without choosing warranty.

I took German_truck's post as tongue in cheek.
