Can you guys point me to the F-150 forum please? I got lost and ended up at the Prius forum by mistake.

Agreed. These magazine guys pound the crap out of the drivetrain and then complain about the mileage.

By the way, I have more than one photo of 700+ miles on one tank of gas with my Ecoboost. One with a 20.9 mpg average and one with a 21.1 average.

Yes pushing a block down the road is not ideal. That's why they try to make engines more Eco/efficient while at the same time not having the engine blow up in your face. Right?? Just my thoughts and observations.

nope, the fuel consumption is actually higher with more pressure since there is more mass of air in the same volume. Regardless of what conditions are pressure the engine needs to maintain the same stoichiometry (air-fuel ratio) to get max efficiency, emmissions and to controll combustion temps.

If that stop/start resets to ON every time the truck is started, some engineer needs a kick in the *****. My BMW remembers 'last state' and stays off unless I explicitly turn it on.

so the Reid Vapour Pressure has no bearing on fuel economy??

I want to see a towing test at altitude and see who comes out on top. The Davis Dam Road in AZ test is great, but it would be interesting to see a 2.7, a 3.5, a Silverado and a Ram go from Denver to Vail and get into some thin air. It would only matter for folks in Albuquerque or Denver I guess. My wife's 2014 4-Runner gets sluggish when we head up.

Keep an eye out for the fast lane truck guys I'm sure they'll do a test with the 2.7 in the Ike gauntlet (Silverthorne to Johnson tunnel).

Yeah...that stretch would be perfect. Hopefully they read this!
