Default Truck was totaled...we are safe.

It was a typical Friday, coming home from gymnastics with my 8 year old daughter. A mile or so from home, a pshycho pulls up next to me, I was going about 35-40, thought he was going to pass but after about 5 seconds next to me, he just turned into me, forced me off the road, I lost control and went into a 180 took out a large stone mailbox pillar then hit a GTI coming the other way. My daughter and I are fine. So thankful for the curtain bags, saved my daughters head from hitting the side rear window.

The axle sheared off with the rotor and caliper still attached. None of the doors fit the cab flush and fender seams were off. Seems the frame and/or cab was twisted.

The guy tried to drive off but the GTI driver held him off until he broke loose and jumped out his passenger side and ran on foot. Police got him not far away, said they had to restrain him. Still waiting for police report. Guy was clearly not right in the head from what everyone at the scene said.

I found out shortly after police arrived that just up the road, the same guy rammed a Range Rover before heading after me. The RR was totaled as well. So that's three cars plus his 2013 Silverado. Looks like this a-hole proved yet another Darwin theory failure.

I loved that truck. Looking at 2018's now. Thanks for the safe vehicle Ford.

Why shouldn't they give thanks to God for their safety? If you read the post correctly credit was given to the F150 the way it was designed. Nothing wrong with giving thanks to God for our blessings.

Thankful you and your daughter are safe. Giving credit to God, but glad to hear the F-150 did its job well. You got to get the '18. A beaut!

BTW: Sweet wheels, but upgrade the shocks on the new one, too. You’ll love the improvement. Best to you and thanks for sharing your ordeal.
