I also take care of all the cars I own and look back at them. Even my company cars.
Your coworker should of had more respect for your property.

Yup.....LOL!!!
Although I know I am OCD, I am not quite as **** as you are, however close though. I have a 2007 Mustang GT/CS with under 7000 miles. I am really bad with that Stang though.....
So, make an appointment for me with your shrink. Might be able to get a note so I can start drawing SSD...LOL!

To each his own. I like to keep my things as nice as possible. I buy nice things and like to keep them nice as long as possible. That includes the house, truck, wife's suv, etc. (true love is detailing her's before yours).
I enjoy detailing my truck, it is the same as others watching a game on tv, fishing, playing video games, etc. I pay good money for each so I like to keep it C.L.E.A.N. (Compulsively Launder Everyday Addiction Narcosis)

I don't know if asking people to not eat in your vehicle is OCD...
I feel like it shouldn't be implied that when you ride in someone else's car that you're able to just do what you want. "I would need to be paid.." ... really though? I think you're saying that but if you had someone riding with you, you probably wouldn't want them treating your vehicle as if it was their own. It's a respect thing.

Of course, and I am very respectful when a passenger in someone's vehicle.
But having said that if I don't want to ride with anyone that is intense about rules and might have a hair trigger response about anything.
Life is too short to be around those types, they really should just drive alone and spare any passengers (and themselves) any grief, just imo.
I would literally require compensation to have to ride with someone like that...I would have to need a ride really bad to tolerate someone's OCD/intense rules...hopefully knock on wood I won't be in that situation
Luckily most of the people I ride with are pretty chill...lol

I drove my truck into work today...a rare occurrence because I work 55 miles from where I live (need to keep the miles low). When I pulled into the parking ramp...I drive to the very top and park in a corner where nobody is to avoid a door ding. I make sure I put my sunvisor up to avoid the UV rays on my dash. As I get out, I make sure to wipe the dust of the Wet Okole seat cover that I just introduced this morning (my leather seats are still in brand new condition because of these covers and Leatherique). I walk inside and look back and stare at it for a couple of seconds and think to myself "yeah, that's my truck."
Later on, my coworker and I go to lunch and I lit him up because the end of his shoe touched my dash and dirtied it (which I then cleaned off this evening when I did my monthly full interior detail). He told me that I'm certifiably insane...and it got me to think as I was driving 2 miles an hour down the dirt road in front of my house (to keep it from getting dirty after it just had a car wash), am I nuts? Is it just pride or am I border-line insane? These trucks are supposed to work right (and mine does...very cautiously)?
I thought to myself...I can't be the only one. As much as I hate Ford and the crap that happens with these vehicles at times, I sure do love my truck and I see it as just being proud of it. Does anybody else suffer from this psychosis?

I treat my ’15 the same way (maybe worse). It’s black and I can’t stand when it’s dusty or has water spots. If I get caught in the rain I go straight home to my garage and clean it. Yea, I’m f__ed up that way. I use chemical guy’s waterless car wash to wipe off the dust and they’re quick detailer several times a week to keep it clean and shiny. No scratches with their stuff! I wax it whenever I can, maybe twice a month. However, I live in the northeast and the winters do drive me INSANE!!! But again I deal with it and do my best to keep it clean.
My wife thinks I’m loony. That’s because she comes from a family of car owners that drove their vehicles into the ground. My father-in-law had a Ford Ranger that he didn’t change the oil on for 25K miles. Go figure! I have coworkers that never wash their cars. Point a-b types.
I paid a lot of green for my truck and I’ll probably keep it a long time. So I want it to look great for as long as I own it.
I love my truck too, and I always look back at it when I park it…maybe more than once actually. And yup, I say to myself “I have a dam good looking truck”.
So gopherman, keep on truckin’, you’re not alone.

Man, if people approached their health the way they do new vehicles our country would not have the terrible obesity problem it does. I find it ironic when I see a brand new spotless truck at the drive thru of McDonalds. This is absolute insanity. But whatever, thats just my 2 cents. If you eat sugar yet stress about a truck..............You need a hug and a book.
