Beautiful truck. Window tint, level, set of KO2 tires - call it good. It's a classy ride as is, not "grandpa" at all.

Leveling kit and de-badge it will make it look less busy

Thanks for the compliments.
I'm saving to do KO2's before the snow flies. The Wranglers that came with it break loose so easy, and I can't see them being good for winter.
I ditched the Leer Trilogy. A TOTAL pain with their latch system, and it sagged in the middle. Now I have a color-matched Leer lid that looks much better.
Trying to find reasonable quotes for tinting. Two windows for $125 seems excessive.
I have Recon light strips that will tuck under the rocker pinch weld and above the boards to light an amber glow on the step surfaces of the retracted boards at night, and then light the boards white when getting in/out.
May paint the calipers and un-machined rotor surfaces. My son wants orange. I'm leaning toward a lighter Caribou or lighter bronze.
Called dealer on install of a 2.5" AS level, but will want 3" blocks in the rear to prevent sag when hauling my trailer.
Thanks again. I'm hoping to find a happy medium. My sons friends are totally ripping on this truck since I traded to it from a 2013 F-350 diesel. I didn't need it as a daily driver, and this F150 is such a nicer drive and ride. It just needs a little more "truck" than "grocery getter".

I love the truck, but if you really want to de-grandpa it, the I'm with kendive. A mild de-chrome and debadge, a 2.5" level with some more aggressive looking wheels and tires would go a long way.

I would not go too far, like putting a sport grille on or anything. That would clash with what you can't easily change, such as the truck's paint and bumpers.

Tint the front & rear windows. That will do wonders. After that, peel the 4x4 stickers. I did those few things to my grandpa chrome Lariat and I think it did wonders for making the truck look more my age.

Lose the mud flaps, vent visors and that chrome strip below the windows. Other than that its an awesome truck.

Of course tint the front windows.

Don't listen to your kids friends. You didn't say how old they were but people just like to criticize others for no reason.

I think your truck looks great as is. Like others said, level it and put some beefy tires on it and that's it.

That said, I always wanted to see what a KR would look like with a dark grey bottom half and blacked out front treatment. Kinda like this mockup I just did.

I think it looks great as is. Nothing better than the KR in my biased opinion. At most: Level, one size up in tires to 33s, window tint, 4x4 sticker delete, PTM mirror caps to the color of the truck instead of chrome. Maybe take off the EcoBoost decals next to the KR badge.

Awesome looking truck though.

Thanks. Looking at tires tonight. The sticker is going this weekend.
