I have a polaris sportsman 850 Touring and she is too wide and long for my short bed.
I have a trailer but am buying a long bed for this very reason!
It has just became one of those young bro guy cool things to put the ATV in the truck bed. It's ridiculous. That is what an ATV trailer is for. Yes I said it. Now don't go getting your panties in a wad about it.

You had asked in another post. When using ramps, it's best to ratchet strap them to hold them in place. the advantage of the longramps.com are just that. the overall length. at 11', it is a more gentle drive up into the bed. Yep, I've seen the @$$ hats on youtube, and ATV load fails. Hence the longramps....

I live in an area very popular with ATV riders. I have sand dunes in my back yard that people come from hundreds of miles away to ride.
Even with that knowledge, the VAST majority of pickup trucks with ATV's in the bed with no trailer are Sheriffs, county irrigation workers, and fire fighters. I would say 1 out of every 5 is a "bro".
