Just a guess, but that might be the system searching for the backup assist marker. You tied into or jump Eres the break controller or the trailer harness correct?

Yes, tailgate has a damper for slow drop.

And to toledoUPSguy, you are welcome. Hey, you bring us all presents!

No, I pulled the left tail light & connected everything there except for the right turn which I ran a wire to that.

Can't use the trailer harness because if you do you it thinks a trailer is connected & interferes with BLISS, ......

I should say that in the 6 weeks I've had the OPT7, just ONCE when I applied the turn signal, the green arrow in IPC was hyper-flashing as when a bulb is out. Only happened once, & I could not reproduce even trying different combos of applying brake or turn sig first.

And what's with the hyper flashing tailgate light next to the handle? I noticed something in my vid... at 6 seconds when I open door, and again at 1:29 the tailgate led flashes crazy.
The hyperflash of the white light near the tailgate handle is the system self-test to ensure that the bulb is working. If it fails the test, you will get a bulb out warning. The truck passes some voltage through the bulb and looks for a load. The voltage is low enough that the bulb barely lights, and it cannot be seen by the human eye. The camera, however, captures it. My 2008 Passat does the same thing with every bulb on the car when you start it.

There sure seems to be a long delay for the brake light to come on for that OPT7 bar. That kind of defeats the purpose. Full disclosure, my Putco brake like doesn't come on instantly either, but it's much faster than that.

Here's a video of the turn signal problem I'm experiencing. Notice that twice the Putco bar actually flashes a signal in the wrong direction for a single flash. Two light bars have done this now. I cannot see how it could possibly be wired wrong, because everything works when it's supposed to (other than the signals and brakes together). The hazard flashers don't always work like they are supposed to either. They miss several flashes.

That truly is messed up. Even if they were the same price I'd get the opt7 for the sequential turn signals and flashers. Since the prices aren't even close to the same it becomes a no brainer.

I'm gonna bet they've got something of an issue in the passenger side taillight wiring, this was similar to one of the weird actions I saw before I connected the wiring to the passenger taillight on mine. I'll try to do a video of mine this weekend

They used a splitter under the bumper to add a 4 pin trailer connector. They wired the light bar to this with the exception of the 12v power and reverse circuits, which went directly to the 7 pin connector.

And there's your problem, It wouldn't work on mine that way at all, HAD to be wired directly to tail lights.

I talked directly to the engineer at Putco and he said the wiring should work, no problem.
