Default Trip Computer Calibration ?

Does anyone know if the fuel flow meter can be calibrated by the dealer ? My computer is about 4.5% off. The tank I filled today read 30 gallons used but actually used 31.3. I consider this very inaccurate and makes the DTE reading deceptive. With 2k on it now it has been consistently this inaccurate.
.
My 2013 was was essentially calculator accurate every fill up for 32000+ miles.

Has anyone else had this experience with the new trucks ?

Default Trip Computer Calibration ?

I have this same question. Mine has been off by 10 - 12% every fill up.

I am waiting for an answer from my dealer. Seems pretty straight forward to me, can be calibrated or it can not be. Hard to believe it can not be.

I doubt they use a flow meter, more than likely uses injector pulse width combined with a few other things.

I know on VAG vehicles there is an adjustment with the scan tool if I remember correctly.

I'd also like to know. Please post what you find out. Mine's way off compared to my old truck.

Hey gang,

Please keep me informed about what your dealerships have to say. Shoot me a PM verifying the year and mileage of your rigs; I'll explore options to assist.

Subscribed....my fuel usage is also off.
It makes the MPG better than what it really is.
