I'd also bet the OP will never come back and tell you about them. Especially after rubbing this thread in everyone's face along with their boring trucks.
I wouldn’t want to own any first year Fiat product. Also, here’s to hoping they improved their crash test ratings.

that’s a bit of a d**k statement, I said for me I find the truck boring, huge difference, I was excited like a kid in a candy store with my factory order of the 2018 Platinum I have now and no I was very honest and upfront about my thoughts, loved it but it’s not exciting, and making a temporary chnage for 9-14 mo this isn’t exactly turning my back on the brand, they have nothing new to offer me when I want something new, I don’t want to wait another 6-9 months.

Theres many on this forum that go back back and forth, many ex ram owners, many ford guys, I’ve had new fords since 2006/2007. It’s just trying something new :P and if the ram is a pos and is a headache I’ll be more than open about it

evwryone told me that when I bought the new JL, haven’t had a single issue with it and 10k on it. because of that I was willing to try a new dodge.

Of you trade in cars every 1-2 years, I don’t think any vehicle will ever satisfy you.

the JL has been good to me but a lot of stories I’ve heard about issues people’s have been having but I was an oct Pre order and one of the first runs, most I know in that group have no issues.

I can see it already. Someone with a used 2018 platinum telling us his truck came with adjustable ambient lighting lol. Good luck with the new truck. Hope it all works out for the best.

Hi, I find it absolutely ridiculous for people to trade vehicles every year or so. My wife and I made an agreement to keep our vehicles for ten years or 100,000 miles before getting another one. But we are glad that some people do change vehicles often. I bought my 2014 F-150 brand new. I bought my 2000 Navigator with only 16,800 miles on it and my wife's 2005 BMW with only 15,000 miles on it. We still have and drive all three vehicles even though two of them made it past ten years and the Lincoln has over 130,000 miles on it.

Why is that a bit of a dick statement? You find the truck boring. Ours are the same truck so... and nobody that jumps on the forum bragging about switching brands is going to come back and tell all the problems they're having with it. I'm talking about after 6 months, not on the ride home.

I hope it's a good truck. I'll not have to take a look at it when I buy my next truck as one of my best buds just got his he ordered almost 5 months ago. I'll keep the forum up to date for you with the issues he's having. If it's been flawless like my 2015 has been then when I buy next time I might consider it.

Each to their own

Each to their own, I said for me compared to the new ram the interior is boring. I went with the fords because they were always a step ahead, it’s a well refined and comfortable truck but I’m just one of those people that trade in, I’m sure once the new 19 F150 if it’s really different I’ll jump right back, I’ve only had thebplatinum now 7 month. I’m just a gotta have the new stuff kinda person and I’ll find every reason to do it and yes I’ll bitch about it

Remember also that our generation is coming to an end. The gm and ram guys are just starting. This happens every 5 years or so they come out with new models and the fords seem a bit aged but then next year boom gm and ram aren't even in the race anymore. I for one having just started a 2 year lease on my lariat premium can't even imagine what the new 2020 trucks will be or how they can get better. Would however love to have that giant screen the rams have!!

They're planning a larger screen from what I've heard and no more center shifter, it will be dial like the expedition
