Default Trading my 15 for an 18.. what to rob?

I went and looked at an 18 today.. and I am 98.3% sure I am pulling the trigger...

Lower payments, but I will now have Sync Connect, Sync 3, and Nav..

Other than those, and going from Oxford White to LIghtning Blue, the trucks are identical... both 2wd 302A Crew Cab 2.7

I already see I have to keep my box link, and I am going to remove the shock for the tailgate damper.. I just hope the 18 has the bracket pre-installed.

Is there anything else I need to pull off before it's too late?

What other minor differences do they not point out unless you think to look for them?

Take the complete drivetrain out. You might need a spare.

I think they might complain about that... the used car manager told me if it wasn't obvious, caused any damage, or left the truck with safety or drivability issues I can have what I want

Which means my Katzkin stays in the old truck and they get to send it for a new set!

yeah, car dealerships are real honest... how is taking a tailgate damper or the boxlink dishonest? they arent going to add much if any value at all, and its his truck until he signs the papers he can take what he wants.

asking the used car manager about it and him giving the go ahead sounds pretty honest to me..

Yeah, he asked about removing stuff from his truck and got approval. I see no reason for the "honest" comment.

I would say that what ever came standard with the truck will be expected to be there. Everything that deviate from that should be noted on the contract.

unless you get extremely lucky the '18 302a wont have the tailgate hinge with the damper adapter on it. Order a new one they are like $18 bucks I got both pieces from Tasca for $33 + shipping

I actually pulled the seats out of my old truck and traded/sold them to another guy. I would ask if they would let you do this as well
