Nice! Sharpest rims Ford has ever produced for the F150 (IMHO). I have a '13 Platinum and would likely go for a Lariat if I were in the market. We will see somewhere around the '17 model year.

yeah, the blind side assist is very cool along with the new back camera destination lines, auto head light dimmers, Blue tooth stereo works a MILLION times better has yet to not hook up to phone, gas mileage is much better with this 5.0 than my ecoboost was, turning radius seems much tighter too, and the ride is INCREDIBLE

I think he meant he went with a lariat instead of buying another platinum because he didn't like the current platinum wheels. I don't think he meant he traded his platinum in because he wanted lariat wheels.

I think they all get better mileage, I average 19 with my 3.5 eco with a mix of city/hwy on every tank - pretty good and know others are having good luck with their v8's as well. The reduced weight must make a difference.

I would not trade my 2013 Platnium for any 2015 F150.
Just me, but I am very pleased with my 2013 and nothing on the 2015's entices or warrants me to make that trade. It's just me, probably. But Ford has been building Ford trucks from steel, since Henry Ford began years ago. I realize change happens and technology improves, but!
First in my opinion it's going to take at least 5 years for the auto repair industry to get the kinks out of working with aluminum on a large scale basis. Second and most importantly, I believe Ford took on quite a bit, to change from steel to aluminum AND have a complete model redesign! That said, it may take five years down the road before all the Ford redesign challenges are worked out? 2020 should be a good year to buy a new Ford F-150!
