Two questions - Which bed cover did you go with -

- and in person do you like the KR tailgate? I hope I like it. It looks so over the top with the stainless (aluminum?) bed width "King Ranch" billboard on it. I'm more understated. Just give me little door plaque and I'm good. How does it look in person?

Ordered 2/17, scheduled build date was 3/30, estimated delivery date was 4/27. I'm hoping the addition of this didn't push me back. I think I have every option now except for the accessory add ons.
I went though the same thing when I changed/fixed my order. It took about a week for the ETA to show back up, but did not change the date.

I believe that the tailgate only comes like that if you selected the Chrome Appearance Package. Otherwise it should be solid in color. I didn't go with the KR because I am not into two tone body colors and wanted my truck to be a single solid color. And if I were to choose the KR with the two tone delete option, I would gotten that tailgate you're talking about. Not into the "bling bling" look. For the same reason I didn't go with the platinum as it also has the "bling bling" tailgate. I'm a low key kind of guy and I don't no shiny beacon bringing attention to me.

You will love it!!

Pictures don't do it justice. I like this tail gate better than my 13, didn't like the wood like grooves in it. The metal feels thick not thin and fragile. I also wasn't sure how I would feel about it after only seeing it looking at pictures. Don't know if it is because mine is white up against the stainless or Aluminum but I find myself very happy with it.

I went with the BakFlip. The under cover is good too. Installs very easy and works well. Power tailgate still works also. This is an issue with some types of bed covers.

Joe is right about the Chrome package. I don't like partial painted and partial chrome bumpers and like the Chrome package.

I cut it right past the brace to hold it after the axle. I'm going to check for any carbon build up on back of bumper and what not. If I start seeing anything I will add a tip to point it at the ground, may add that anyway. I really love the look without the tail pipe showing. It's always dirty and blacken with exhaust.

I also got my bed cover installed. Been raining and have kept it in the garage, worked to hard to clean it up to just get it dirty right away. I also have a SRT Challenger that I recently detailed and have it in the detached garage, but would't take it out either. Been using my wife's Jeep and taking grief about it too!! She say's you have two vehicles and you take my car!

Couldn't stand it. Drove it in the rain. Washed it IN THE RAIN which was a first for me. Didn't have any problem with the soap drying before I could rise it.

LMBO

I guess that is an advantage!

I have driven a clean vehicle in the rain for a short trip and rinsed it off when I got home. It all comes off as long as it never dried.

I went with the undercover flex also. It should be her tomorrow. AND my truck hit its final rail yard this morning at about 4am. That's about an hour and a half via interstate from me, so I'm betting it will be here today or tomorrow. SWEET!
