Found it on accident.

Really a great find on your part, and thanks for posting it! I took a shot and punched in some of those VIN's to see if they had a window sticker, no luck.

BTW, I PM'ed Ford today for status (VIN 2733), but haven't heard back yet.

Not saying that this isn't accurate, because I don't know, but let's look at a few things:

Has Dearborn had hail this week?

Based on what I've seen with Ford holding some of the new Mustangs, they don't share what damage has happened to them, particularly not this soon after production.

I doubt the dealer would publish that a vehicle that they would not receive had hail (or any other kind of) damage. Imagine them saying "Fell off rail car".

Again, not saying that this couldn't be true, but if Dearborn has had hail this week, it might be worth a call to this dealer to see what they know before we give three of our members a coronary!

Looking at the weather history for Dearborn, it looks like they've had .035" of precipitation over the last week. Doesn't sound like hail, but maybe someone who lives in the area can give us an update.

I'll bite. Below is a calendar view of October weather for Detroit. We are now looking at weather to determine whether a truck, that may or may not have been shipped to Nebraska, has hail damage.

This is the bottom...I can only go up from here.

I would imagine that NO truck has been shipped yet. I checked for hail in the dearborn area in the month of October and found nothing........

I dont make the news, I was only reporting what I found.

I find this helpful in situations like this;

Occam's razor (also written as Ockham's razor and in Latin lex parsimoniae) is a problem-solving principle devised by William of Ockham (c. 1287–1347). It states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Other, more complicated solutions may ultimately prove correct, but—in the absence of certainty—the fewer assumptions that are made, the better.

linnwgetin...you're likely one-in-a-thousand that has any knowledge of Occam's razor.
Congrats!

For anyone that has updates on their order does it show up on this site?

http://www.cotus.ford.com/

Just want to know if I am wasting my time checking it 5 times a day and getting nothing.
