Does anyone know if these PCOs are treated as extra cash - sent to the dealer from ford corporate marketing? As if it was xtra cash out of my pocket to the dealer. Or just a gimmick coupon to get you in the door. Trying to make you feel like you are getting a good deal - when in all reality if shared up front - the dealer knows they can discount the truck the same amount anyway. Coupon is just ‘smoke’ to distract you.

Yes, it's a gimmick, a useful gimmick. if you have a negotiated price when you get to the dealer slap that on the table and they'll honor it

That’s what I’m hoping for. Deal is already negotiated and I am content. If they take this extra PCO as part of my out of pocket planed $$$ - bonus. Thanks for input.

I just tried this, cleared my cache, and got the offer for $3K. Holy $#%!&. I'm taking delivery tomorrow morning of my 2018 Lariat Sport. I was not planning on this bump. Sent a note to my salesperson tonight, who I'm sure will be irritated by the need to reprint my papers but if this actually works....WOW...you are the man. Thank you for posting this. Hoping they will take this tomorrow and not give me a hard time or try to decline. $3K! =0

That was awesome. I woke up yesterday morning - with a deal I was very happy with and the intent to walk in with $3000 to put down on the new truck I ordered in February. Tried calling ford marketing twice over the past 3 months - no luck. Found the PCO last night thanks you you all - and sent code to my salesman. Got there this am and asked if they got my email and without any hesitation ‘yup - your all set’. Didn’t have to hand over any $$$ and kept my great deal. Not a bad way to start the weekend.
Weather is terrible. Will post pics later with summary order info and how I got the PCO to work. (Basically followed the direction already posted)

Hi, just got my order info from my dealer, order on 4/12/18, order processing completed on 4/30/18. and production week 5/7/18, and stated "in order processing", so what should i think of this? good ? on hold due to the fire? not real sure what all it means, thank for any help.....
