depends on the dealer. 2hrs or several days. Needs to be inspected, cleaned, papers pulled, etc. If they have to do any minor repairs or touchups it can delay things.

My truck was delivered Thursday after the dealer closed and I picked it up Friday afternoon. It was actually still in prep when I went to the dealer but they finished it up while I signed all the papers. It will depend on the dealer and how busy they are.

Same here...mine came in last week on Thursday and was ready by 2PM the following day.

Any idea what types of minor repairs are common and deemed acceptable?

I have heard of dealers that unload what appear to be brand new vehicles at really steep discounts. Assuming this report is true, many of them are the ones that arrive with transport damage that a dealer can fix and not disclose but it is more than just Armor All and Mother's Back to Black. I hope my new 2017 does NOT have a transfer case issue.
