Towing without tow mirrors

Anybody tow an 8x20 enclosed trailer without the huge mirrors that come with max trailer tow package?

No, but the towing mirrors don't come with the max trailer tow package; they're extra

Just curious if anyone has towed that size of trailer with standard mirrors. Can you still see around the trailer?

I tow my 8 1/2' x 12 enclosed snowmobile trailer without the tow mirrors. Definitely can't see behind the trailer very well. The other day, the only reason I knew a car was behind me was because I could see its shadow. I really wanted the tow mirrors but I didn't want to order a truck and wait and this one had pretty much everything else I wanted.

I have had the tow mirrors on prior trucks. I don't tow much anymore and I didn't want the big mirrors, constantly folding them in to get in tight spaces.

What is needed is a plug into 12v wifi or Bluetooth camera that can be stuck on the back of the trailer and displays on the inside rear view mirror.

I bought these. Haven't had the chance to use them yet though.

Something like that would be great. I've played with the idea of adding a camera on the back of the trailer and either having it show up on the built in screen or having a second screen.

With WIFI being built into more and more vehicles, that is a good idea. Could even have it selectable to view in the center stack when in reverse.
