Default Towed my mustang to Knotts Berry Farm

Trip was about 100 miles one way and I still got 16.6 mpg. Sat a little low in the rear but this was my first time towing with this truck, looks like I need to get a wdh.

that is some serious Squatty Potty!

Mustang looks pretty far forward on the trailer though. Any room to push it back and take a little weight off the tongue?

I agree that it just looks like you have it too far forward. Nice ride by the way. I have a 68 Coupe.

This is my truck towing my Mustang. Yours does look a little low. Perhaps a lot of that weight is the trailer. Mine is all aluminum and is pretty light. I transported mine from Houston to Galveston but didn't check the mileage. The truck performed just fine and hardly knew the trailer was back there,

This is what I was going to say. Need to get more weight over the wheels. Way too much tongue weight on there.

Aluminum flatbed trailers have a negligible weight difference. Usually about 3-400 lbs.

His mustang is far forward and he has toolboxes on the front and he doesnt have a wdh. The wdh would fix all of this for him.

Yeah, I did have some room to move it back but the *** end would have been hanging over the end, plus this trailer is pretty heavy to begin with

This was my weekend towing adventure. Flagstaff to Albuquerque. 7200lbs unloaded so im guessing closer to 8000lbs. Shouldn't have used my truck for it but didn't want to make the trip back with different truck. Overloaded suspension but truck pulled it like a champ. averaged 10.5 mpg. not bad. Yeah i know i know. Dumb***. Its done now. Never again.
