I currently have a 2018 F-150 XLT 301a package that came with regular mirrors. My dealer made a deal with me that they would swap a set of tow mirrors from another truck to mine after my purchase. I am wondering if it is possible for me to enable the LED lamps in the mirrors when my headlights are on? I have manual folding mirrors, heated, power mirrors and signal lights. Thanks

I am working on making the swap too. I feel like there is a thread about this around here somewhere, but I haven't found it yet.

I noticed that the marker lamp portion is not the same as the turn signal, and that it comes on when I unlock the car. Now we just need to figure out how to make it stay on... probably an answer somewhere in the Forscan thread.

Here are a couple threads for starters. Be aware that depending on when your '18 was built, the outside air temp sensor may be located in the passenger side mirror.
