Some more info. Sounds like ford is showing that the change over VIN's don't come with a passengers side mirror and our parts guy had to call the hotline. They've ID'd the full load mirrors with black skull caps as:
- JL3Z-17683-D
- JL3Z-17682-D

Just waiting on confirmation if they include the AAT sensor, the parts manager wasn't able to confirm that. He's got an email into the "Ford Know It All".

Here are some documents I was able to pull, they may be helpful for someone:

How can you tell when this truck was built?

My current truck came with the smaller mirrors, I would like to install a set of tow mirrors, I want to keep all the features of the smaller mirrors, BLIS, Camera, power fold. One thing that I would like to add is power extend, on my last truck it was doable, install a ford oem switch and a couple of relays, I like to have an oem look and not have it hacked to death. Has anyone done this? Is there even a mirror that would come with power extend? Toulsey Ford has a mirror aprt Number: FL3Z-17683-AJ but I'm unsure of the features. Thanks for any help.

Cheers.
No comment about mirrors! Just wanted to say I have a 2018 F150 in Magma as well! Awesome choice

Looks like these #'s are correct, confirmed with AAT sensor:

- JL3Z-17683-D (Drivers Side)
- JL3Z-17682-D (Passengers Side)

I've ordered them, should see them in about 5 business days!

Thanks for the part numbers, I looked around the two local lots and nothing came up. I'm going to order those two numbers also.

I put the mirrors on from my '16 in the meantime. I bought the base part number air temperature sensor and pigtail and found the ATT wires in a plug going through the firewall. I soldered onto those and ran them through the running board grommet up to the grille and installed the ATT in the spot previous to March. Worked like a charm as a temp fix until the mirrors come in with the actual sensor. I originally zip-tied it onto the power running board motor under the truck, but I didn't realize how hot it actually got under there, I figured it would pick up the ambient temp while driving, but it registered about 20 degrees (c) higher. The sensor was $16, the pigtails were $75 ( cdn ).

I thought that was the build date as well, until someone on here who works for a dealer corrected me. I checked and the month matched up on 2 out 3 of my cars. The third was a few months off. To double check I pulled the actual build date from oasis and confirmed that the date on the sticker is absolutely not the build date.
