Total Loss on 2017 XLT
 

So I’m at work and a cop shows up looking for me. They tell me someone had hit my truck in the parking garage. I’m thinking someone backed into me and dented or scratched my bumper. Then I see this:

I later find out that the lady that hit me was piss drunk at 8:30am and was arrested. I only had the truck for a little over 8 months. The front frame was bent and they suspected the rear part of the frame was too so it was declared a total loss. Needless to say I’m bummed. I loved this truck and had it optioned out exactly like I wanted.

That sucks

That sucks....but good that it was parked and you weren't in it or walking through the parking deck when she was flying through there drunk!

That does suck. Glad they caught her though.

Yes thankfully nobody was hurt with this wacko driving around. She was driving an older Explorer and she claimed her brakes failed. I think she must of hit the gas pedal instead of the brake but she was definitely carrying some decent speed.
