I'm pretty sure the traction control is using wheel speed sensors and transmission output shaft data to determine where to send power. But I, like you am no expert.

Yeah I found a post saying the only real way to disable it is to disconnect one of the speed sensors. Looks like it has Roll Stability Control (RSC), which would prevent a person from accelerating out of a corner. This has to be what I am experiencing.
