I've got the UWS low profile slim on mine and looked into adding a cover. No cover would work with it. All vendors responded their tool box covers would work only with full sized tool boxes. Im looking into swapping it out for the Bakbuilt cover and tool box combo.

I had regular toolboxes in all of my trucks. Recently changed and went with a roll up bed cover and a DeeZee chest underneath. I don't access my tool box on a daily basis or anything so its not bad. I like this set up a lot better though. However, in the future I will buy a nicer cover as right now I have a cheaper roll up Velcro sides. I'd like a roll-n-lock or hard roll up style.

Today I took my cross over toolbox off and put on a hard trifold tonneau. I guess I went the opposite way as you. Give the toolbox a try, it's not hard to swap back and forth.

On my previous truck I had a toolbox on with a tonneau, but it was an 8' bed, so it worked out ok. with a smaller bed you lose to much room.

As posted above...why not both. Check out Diamondback. They have tool trays too. Picked up mine (cover and tool tray) from their "outlet" page for a very good price.

Here's the link to their "outlet". https://diamondbackcovers.com/collec...ondback-outlet

I forget who, but someone makes a toolbox with bedcover....or it is a bedcover designed to work with toolboxes. It’s the best of both!

No but there is not reason why you couldn't. I just have it secured to the side mounts with turnbuckles. The Bakflip locks but if anyone really wanted it they could still get it.

I have the UWS low profile aluminum in my dark gray F-150. It matches the chrome bumpers and running boards.

No bed cover for me, doesn稚 fit my usage.

I知 big on this style as well. Just got a new one installed on my truck today. I went with this though.
Also a pic of my old one. They come with mounting slide in plates that you screw in to your bed via an anchor style metal slug that comes with it.
