Default To Tonneau or not to Tonneau ahead of storm

As of today I am close to the bullseye of this possible storm at the end of the week. I am waiting on some clamps from Truxedo (they didn't come with my Lo Pro QT). With a possible 1-2 Feet of snow, am I better off putting the cover on ahead of the storm or waiting till after? If I go before I am going to have to be diligent about cleaning it off, especially if wet snow.

I can't speak for Truxedo's covers, but I don't see why you shouldn't install your cover before it snows.

The cover's job is to keep the bed clean, and I know our tonneau covers can handle snowfall like that. It's much easier to take a broom and push the snow off a cover rather than having to dig it out of a bed.

From a 6 foot snowstorm last November in Buffalo. Under there is an Extang Revolution roll up cover. No damage. You be the judge. I think you are safe.

If you don't put the cover on you'll have some added weight in the rear to help with traction. If its a heavy snow, that is. I guess will see Saturday!
