Default Tire and wheel fitment guide (2015+)

I came from a 2014 and now have a 2016. There is a tire fitment guide in that section and didn't notice one here. If there is and it just wasn't a sticky, I'm sorry, go ahead and delete this post. If not, lets do this! Please include as much info about the set-up as possible:

1) Vehicle
-year
-cab/bed config
-4x2/4x4

2) Lift or Level
-size
-brand
-how much it cost you (roughly)

3) Wheel
-brand + model
-diameter x width
-offset
-$$

4) Tire
-brand + model
-diameter x width
-road-noise
-$$

5) Other
-any/how much trimming was needed to fit?
-any other modifications needed to fit?
-does it rub? over bumps? full lock? just reverse?
-what did it do to your power? what did it to do your fuel mileage?
-what drove your choice? $$? past experience? word of mouth?

6) PICS (if you have them)
-head on shot
-down the side
-straight side shot
-booty shot :-)
-trimmed areas if needed

If anyone has any other suggestions on things to add, or a better way to word this, feel free to comment. I just wanted to get this going because I'm sure that there are tons a questions current and to come about what tires will fit what application.

LET'S GO!

Default Help please

I have a set of fuel octane 20x9 rims with 0 offset and 275/65r20 duratracs that I want to take off my 2013 f150 and put on a 2016 f150.

Will these fit without rubbing until bilstein releases the 5100 adjustable height shocks for the 2016 this fall?

Thanks for the help

Thanks for doing this, I'm very interested. There are lots of posts with pictures and data but you don't get the full picture because details are left out.

Couple things that might be good to add it the data is available:
1) Before and after height for front and back (wheel center to fender lip), initial and after settling if different
2) If coilover level kit, if adjustable, what are the coils set to?

Seems that in some cases people are getting different amounts of lift when using the same kits.

Well done.

That's a good idea. I cannot seem to edit the original post however, don't know what that's about. I've edited it once about 3 months ago, nothing now. I'll keep checking back and see if something changes. I really think this thread would be helpful, but I thought it was a goner for sure.

Truck: 2016 5.0 V8 XLT Sport 4x4 SCrew
Level: Daystar 2.25” level kit. Cost ~ $550. This includes cam bolt kit, labor, and alignment.
Wheels: Fuel Assault 20x9 +1 offset. Cost ~ $1060. Includes new lugnuts.
Tires: BFG's A/T KO2 275/65R20 (34x11). Minimal road noise. Cost ~ $1460.
Other: There was a slight rub on the front crash bars. A local shop spread the crash bars & fixed the problem. No trimming needed. No change in power (and I pull a boat). I lost about 2 mpg. (I was getting about 24 mpg.)
I have been using a local truck shop for years. They helped me with some of the choices. I like the look of Fuel Wheels. I was going back and forth for months trying to choose the right style. It was hard to decide since I could not see them in person. I was torn between the assault, lethal, throttle and vapor wheels. As for tires, I was looking at Nitto’s, Toyo’s, and BFG’s. I went with BFG’s after months of research and discussion. I like the look of the BFG’s. They ride great! I am very happy with the choices I made.

Perfect!! Exactly what we're looking for. Nice to know that if I put on a wheel that size with a tire that size that the crash bars need to be spread a little. Hopefully you are the first of many contributors! Truck looks great!

Thanks Hag

Leveling Kit- AS 2.5" front/ stock rear.
Installed and aligned by me.
Cost of the Kit $80 from a member on this forum.

Wheels- stock 18" Sport

Tires- 285/75/18 Toyo RT. Also installed and balanced by me.
Cost 1190.
Road noise is about a 3 out of 10. They ride better than my stock Wrangler w/Kevlar. Took very little weight to balance. Speedo is about 4mph off from 45mph and above.
-ZERO rubbing issues.
-took about a 1.5-2mpg hit, but no feeling of loss of power.

Default Leveled 2 days ago

I've put this a few other places, but figured this wouldn't be a bad place to add it also. 295/70R17 with 17x9 0mm offset wheels and a 2" level. I believe the airbags were at 0psi at time of pictures.

1) Vehicle
-2016, Supercrew 5.5' bed, 4x4

2) Lift or Level
-2", Daystar, ~$100

3) Wheel
-Mickey Thompson Classic III Baja Lock, 17x9, 0mm offset, ~$150/ea

4) Tire
-Dick Cepek Extreme Country, 295/70R17 ~33.5x11.5, More than stock noise, not loud though, ~$210/ea

5) Other
-No trimming, rubs a little at full lock with flex, rubs a little in reverse at full lock, little power loss - not bad, haven't had them long enough to see what it did to fuel mileage, I have these tires on my Bronco (cheap) and I have had wheels before plus they are cheap

6) PICS (if you have them)

Angled shot

Proximity to passenger side crash bars with wheels straight

Head on shot

Down the side shot

Rear (booty) shot

Side shot

~33.5x11.5

Hi I'm just wondering if your wheels and tyres still sit inside the fenders or are they sticking out? P.S truck looks mint. Cheers
