Default Tire fit question with only having a leveling kit & stock wheels

Wanted to get into some more aggressive tires. Currently on the stock. Dont want to put the cash down for new wheels so sitting on 18's

So question is with the 2in (or is it 1.75in) level kit could I fit these tires everything else stock with no rubbing?

BF Goodrich 34x12.50R18 Tire, All-Terrain T/A KO2 - 36312

or would I have to opt for:

BF Goodrich LT275/70R18

Dont want to take out or mod the crash bars. The 275/70's are a lot cheaper than the 34x12.5's but Id like a little poke out from the tires. Not much. I think the 12.5's would offer this. Hoping i wouldnt need spacers or anything either. I am a new truck owner so excuse if any of what I am talking about is gibberish. Just here to learn. TIA!

Yes the 34x12.50R18 will fit on the stock rim. The width of the tire might look a bit to wide for the rim.

I would think that with a front level that you would be ok. I have a 1.5" front level. The tires I put have 285 tread width, with a diameter of 34.5" and did not have any rubbing issues. However, like you, I wanted them to stick out a little and added wheel spacers. That is when I had slight rubbing issues. Ended up spreading the crash bars a little.

you can fit 35x12.50x18 on a stock rim and 2" level without rubbing

Here is 2015FX4's truck with said setup:

Yeah I saw that it was a good bit 'thicker' on the rim than stock. Wheel might look a little caved in.

That's not a consistent result. I think a lot depends on the tire manufacturer's spec for the tire. If you call them up, they'll give you their actual specs for the diameter and width, which often vary from the nominal size... as indicated in the screen shots the OP posted.

I know from reading posts here that some people have experienced rubbing on even a 2.5" level with 35" tires. I read threads exhaustively and called BFG before selecting KO2s in 305/65/18. Now that I see my crash bar clearance, I think I could get away with 35x12.5 if I wanted to, on my 2" level.

Gotta say I've never liked those wheels before but on the dark truck and with those tires they look right!
