I loved my General Grabbers that I had on my jeep. Will probably put them on the truck next. Take a look at the reviews on tirerack.

I don't know about that unless you intend to do real off road driving, which I'm sure they are good at. I put them on my Nissan Frontier a year and a half ago. They are LOUD, ride hard and difficult to balance. I cannot drive 70 on the highway without feeling a wobble in the steering wheel.

I had no issues with any of that on my liberty.

I have BFG KO's on my work truck that see's 10 hours of driving a day, I will never put these on my personal truck because of the ride quality.
You can feel every bump/crack in the road because the sidewalls are so hard. They are scary on dirt roads causing the truck to bounce all over the place.

Sounds like your tires are over inflated or you're driving a HD truck like a 250/350 and you need the hard sidewall for load rating. I have an F250 that has ran both BFG KO and Wrangler Duratrac and while they are load range E rated Ive never ran them up at 80PSI because I dont regularly carry 3000lbs in the back. 40-50 rides much nicer.

I have the complete opposite experience but there are a number of factors that go into what makes for a good ride, like rim size and overall diameter, the vehicle you are driving and the quality of shocks the vehicle has. Just put 35x12.50R18 KO2s on my truck and they are 10 times more confidence inspiring than any tire I've had before, especially compared to the garbage 20" Hankooks that came stock. They also ride smoother than the previous 33x1250R18 Toyo MTs I've run. On gravel roads the pot hole bump absorption is fantastic and it tracks remarkably smooth and straight over washboard.

I run 285/60/20 Duratrac all winter, and yes at like 40-42 psi and you get a nice ride....more than that and it is like riding on steel.

OP : The two tires can't even be compared. If you're looking for comfort, forget the K02s and stay with the michelin...

There are other alternatives for A/T tire that is friendly on paved roads. My Wildpeaks AT3W are a great example. They are not noisy at all, adhere good on dry, wet and snowy roads. The Yoko Geolandar AT G015 are also a good hybrid option between road and full AT tire.

My tires are always inflated properly and rotated regularly.
I drive 300-400 km's a day on these tires and "personally" I don't really care for them on my work F150, but I don't really have a choice in tire brand for work...
I will say I do like the traction in winter, light mud and off-roading...And they do make the truck look nice.
But to each their own.
Here's my work truck

But aren't they going to waaaay heavier? I understand they're not only an LT tire, but with the highest load range (E), correct? I don't need that. I guess my first priority is that tires are not any heavier than stock (Hankook Dynapros). Don't want to make my truck even more lethargic than it already is with bigger and/or heavier tires. Ha ha. Just don't need them. Next on the priority list would be they're not worse than the Hankooks performance-wise. And third, ride and noise better than Hankooks if possible. Anyway, still haven't had a chance to fully explore the Hankooks until I have my truck for a year (to drive in winter conditions, etc), but I'm just getting ahead of the game by getting acquainted with these kind of tires, and determine which would be my next. I never heard about the Wildpeaks and Geolandars, so I have 2 more choices to consider. Thanks for that.
