Default Have had exact same issue with screen

So I also have a 2016 and have had the exact same problem with the screen. It usually started with when I switched the engine on and the screen said some about Ford 911 connected etc. and the message stayed there till I powered the radio on and off. Eventually the screen just stayed blank and I had nothing.

Dealership I went to replaced something but the new part was faulty so they then got an even newer part. That was maybe 6 months ago. Started having same problem again and they said that there is some kind of software upgrade out there that should fix the problem so I am going back in on Thursday to have it looked at.

I also have that radio issue on mine sometimes the 911 assist box would not go away and several time the screen stayed black for hours the next time I turned the truck on it worked fine been to ford many times reflashed replace apim replaced the screen (everything so i'm told) now the 911 assist box will stay on if I put the truck in reverse where the backup camera comes on when the box is on the screen if I wait till the box goes away or put in reverse before the box comes on its fine. go figure

Hold the power button (volume/on & off button and the right button (forward) next to where it says "media" for about 3-5 seconds. This is a hard reset.....

Lemon laws vary from state to state. You may want to consult with a actual lawyer in your area to find out what legal recourse is available. In many states, if you have documented at least 3 tries to fix a problem and it still has not been repaired you fall under the first requirement. There generally are some time aspects that go with this.
Good luck

Thanks all for the replies.

I have had this to 2 different dealers with the same results.

Spoke with Ford on the phone and all they wanted to do was give me an escalated ticket to make sure the Service Manager gets involved who is the same person who gave me the whole if it doesnt throw a code my guys dont know what to fix dance.

Guess its time to speak to a lawyer.

This may sound like futile advice, but what about reaching out to Ford social media via twitter. I have had pretty solid results when doing so with other companies when I didn't get anywhere with customer service, etc. Explain your case in detail to Ford via DM and I bet you can get somewhere without having to shell out for an attorney in the immediate future.

I have not tried Twitter yet and will give that a shot. Have tried a couple of different avenues and they all just want to escalate me to the Service Manager who has done nothing for me to begin with.

I was at my dealer yesterday after the Service Manager had left and was assured my problem was of the utmost concern and I would be called this morning the very first thing they did. Its now 11:30 with no phone call

Explain that when you contact Ford...Make sure they are aware of the lack of communication you've received from the S.M.

Document everything!

If you are going the lawyer route, you need documented proof.
