Time to look into lemon laws?
Just asking opinions but here is what is going on with my truck.
I have a 2016 f150 I bought last June new from Town and Country Ford and it just hit 16k miles on it. I have recorded with my phone several times when starting the truck the display for my radio/back up camera is black and nothing works not even the phone or sync.
The blackout can last from a couple of days to just hours. I brought my truck into the local dealer twice while the screen was black so they could actually see it and they tried re flashing the computer. It didn't work
I have had it back to Town and Country in Evansville IN two more times for the same issue and the first time was told there was nothing to fix because it didn't throw any codes. The second time I wasn't as nice telling them to keep the truck I am tired of dealing with this and all they did was reflash the computer which now not only does the screen still go black from time to time but now gets a weird vertical line like an old UHF TV that the screen would roll.
To their credit Town and Country is supposed to call me again to work on it yet again but I went down there hoping they would trade me into a different vehicle which they refused. Taking my truck down there is an hour drive one way and this will be the fifth time going in for this problem. I am very close to contacting a lemon law attorney and was just wondering if there was any kind of advice you could offer me.

I asked that very thing and have been told a few times they will not just swap parts out since the truck isn't giving them any codes to fix. They are telling me with no codes being thrown it does not make it covered under warranty.
Honestly I don't care what it falls under I think the head unit needs to be replaced and be done with it.

Now they have an upset customer over that dumbness.

My first two attempts was at a local dealer who I did not buy it from. I only took it there when the screen was actually black so they could see it and all they did was reflash the computer so the next two tyears mess have been back to the dealer I purchased it from.

And that was pretty much my reaction since they didn't have a computer holding their hand telling them what to fix they also just re flashed my computer.

Dude get on the phone with someone higher up, gm or something. They can clearly see it's broken, that's rediculous, it doesn't need to throw a code! Like the previous guy said, wheel bearings don't throw codes or leaks.
