Red face Thumping/ Clicking sound

Someone please help. I have a 2020 F150 king ranch ecoboost that I got in June. It has 10k miles on it 90% of those miles are high way miles. When I let off the gas then back on theres a clicking and thumping sound that comes from what seems to be the front end of the car. I can feel it in the gas peddle. you can really hear it between 20-29mph. example if you do 27ish and let off the gas until about 20-22mph and slightly put your food on the gas peddle again you can hear and feel it. I took it to one dealer they said they fixed it which they didn't they replaced the IWE whatever that is. I then took it to another another dealer. They've had it for two days now and have no idea what it is. They told me they wanna look into it more but don't have a loaner available but also say my trailer hitch might be causing it so they too it off and said its still doing it. They said i can get the car and bring it back why would i want to do that. This is the second dealer I have been too for for this problem brand new truck shouldn't be having any problems. I should have spent 70k on another benz instead of a ford thats my fault from going to a sports car 2007 to a 2020 king ranch f150 cause i needed something bigger. Disappointed with ford already please help if you have experienced this issues or have anyidea what it could be. They said the new 10 speed transmission learns how you drive and said that if i trailed anything in the begining the trans still might thing I am trailering something. wtf does that mean I cant trailer things with my truck? please help.

You shouldn't be trailering anything for the first thousand or so miles, look in your manual, it's in there.

Any thumping that is strong enough to be felt in the gas pedal can be seen. Put a go-pro under the truck, near the axle, about at the driver's seat and facing the front of the truck. Go for a drive and make the thump occur. Watch the video.

I didn't trailer anything fir the first 2k miles at least. Ford should be able to find it. I even took a service guy for a ride to let him listen to it. They are blaming on my trailer hitch being attached with nothing on it. They took it off and it still does it. They are now saying drive shaft and or something with the diff.

Sounds like you need to be patient and let the technicians work on your vehicle to determine the cause of your issue. You are not the only vehicle at any repair facility that is getting worked on. Any technician will spend an hour on an issue then likely move on if they are not able to determine the issue, then return to it once he is through more of his work; especially if it is for warranty work where he barely makes any hourly gain, none the less any diag time. Repeatedly taking it to other shops also creates issues because every single person will have to start at square one each time.
Just take a chill pill, get a rental if they do no have a loaner if needed, and wait while they determine what is wrong with your vehicle.

By hitch, do you mean they took apart the rear bumper to remove the hitch, or are you referring to a draw bar that inserts into a hitch?

finally got my truck back still not fixed. The second dealer wasn't able to fix it either. They had to call ford hotline to talk to a someone who might know what they sound could be. They said it happens when in 6th gear and thinks its something with the trans.

gmav97, I have a 2020 5.0 and have the same clunk in front end. I did shim the receiver with a piece of alum. on top so to stop the clunk from that. It seems that the factory hitch is slightly bigger than all the receivers I have......BUT I still have a clunk in the front end when shifting.....it seems to feel like slack in either driveshaft or CV's (to use as an example of noise) but unsure what is actually up front.

I get it more when I'm in sport mode which is how I usually drive but have not been happy with the 10 speed trans feeling sluggish, and similar clunks in rear with a slack feeling.

I haven't taken it to the dealer yet and was looking for some answers prior so I can evaluate their diagnosis.

Thanks
