I got one of these and it totally fixed my frustration with this truck. I hated having to push the throttle 1/2 way to motivate the truck to move. With the Pedal Commander in City or City -1 the truck feels much more like the Dodge and Chevrolet trucks I have owned in the past.

I feel that Ford artificially lowered throttle response in these trucks to help meet CAFE standards and this solves that lack of responsiveness.

To those saying, "why don't you just put it in sport mode?" Because sport mode does stupid 3,500 RPM downshifts into second that upset the entire vehicle and put unneeded wear on the trans. It also holds revs for 5-10 seconds after a hard acceleration.

I do not like either of these attributes in normal driving. I have a 2015 Mustang GT that I'll use if I want to drive fast, I just want my truck to feel responsive when I push the gas. If you feel the same way, I'd suggest you try this thing. If you're happy with the factory throttle response, don't buy one. That simple.

I purchased one for my 2017 last year. I called Peal Commander and asked about any coupons available and they gave me a code over the phone for 10% off, $269.00. It's a great addition. The first time I used it it was raining and it was tough keeping the tires from spinning when the Pedal Commander was in sport mode. Once I got used to it there was no problem.

Wanna do something fun? Drive for a few hours in eco mode and switch it to city or sport. It will feel like it picked up 100 hp

I have the Sprint Booster and my buddy has the Pedal Commander. I would pick the Sprint Booster over the other as IMO it functions better and has a bit smaller panel so it hides better.

It brings the pedal into a 1 to 1 ratio with throttle body and allows the throttle body to open further. They are not a gimmick as other members have stated. They do what they are intended to do. Much more responsive throttle/no delay

Can you elaborate a little on these modes and programming it has?

3 Acceleration modes (Off, Sport and Racing)
36 Acceleration programs (18 automatic transmissions).

Default Two Q

Do you(s) feel like you're burning 2x the gas?

What engine does everyone have? I mean does it perform well on both EB and V8? I have V8.
