I don't know about this product beyond the claims here, but devices that emulate pushing harder on the pedal are not the same as devices that eliminate pedal delay.
Fords aren't so bad, but some newer cars have so much delay that trying to pull into a traffic gap can be very dangerous. Stomp as hard as you want and the car will basically wait up to a second to respond. All of my current autos are cable and my bike is drive by wire. The bike throttle response is flatly instant just like a cable throttle. I rent over 220 days a year and every vehicle I rent has noticeable throttle delay. I'll buy anything that gets rid of it.

I am sure the reason Ford does this on our trucks is to lower the chance of wheel spin. Mine spins em like crazy taking all the delay out of the throttle control. Im talking better then any car I have owned and I have owned 40 or so over the years.

Solid point. My bike with drive by wire can spit out from under in an instant with even a light slip on the throttle. Accidental wheelies are very common in the first two gears.
