Thought I found my next truck...
Found pretty much what I was looking for in options. Sent a request for price and laughed when I got the response. MSRP is $48935, they came back at 'around' $48k.
OK then. Nevermind.
I've never seen a request for price over the internet come back above invoice let alone essentially right at MSRP.
Of course I noticed a 2015 with 302A and Sport that I think I would actually prefer at the same dealer. The '16 had Sync 3 and 3.73's, the '15 has remote start and heated seats, downsides are old Sync, 3.55's and 20's (not a fan of 20's).
Maybe I'll revert back to the old plan of pay off the truck, drive it until the wheels fall off and pick up a side by side next year...

I'd hang onto your 11, honestly. Unless it was a smoking deal on the 16, which it doesn't sound like it was, it's not worth upgrading.
That may just be their 'this internet guy is probably just a stroker' kind of price. I bet if you showed up in person ready to go they'd change their tune considering the 'friends and neighbors' event going on now.
Then again, it's december and we're in new england so truck demand is SUPER high...they may not be willing to budge much.

I've seen "Our internet price is the best price we offer" and laughed my way out of the store. Bought a very nice truck at a dealership 1.5 hours away for several thousand less than they offered that oneto me for.

Friends and Family is no more.

Friends and family was pretty weak to begin with honestly.
A dealer who says their best price is MSRP or anywhere near it is blowing smoke. I get flat out insulted when a dealer approaches me like that. I walked off two lots b/c of that crap.

Supply and demand. I got mine early March and it was hard to find the one I wanted. Still got an awesome deal though. And when I got it, there weren't many other 15's around. Now there's tons of them.

I signed for my truck and drove it home Friday, 12/4. Got the Friends & Neighbors + A-plan. Thought I got a decent deal. '15 SCrew, 5.0L XLT Sport, 302a, 3.55 tow package. Came in under the base price of $37,630 (want to say $37.1K) except I added the extended warranty and bedliner to it. All together was just over $39K. (EDIT: That's OTD including taxes, etc.)

I wanted a loaded fx4 supercrew with the ecoboost but found a smoking Internet special on a stx supercab with the 5.0 ended up leaving over 500 bucks but came back because it was to good to pass up, 3k trade in and after incentives tax and licensing I walked out for 28k, I bought on Dec 23.

The sad thing is, there are actually some clueless people out there who pay MSRP or close to it.
