Thinking of purchasing 6x10 enclosed single axle trailer

I have a 6x12 v nose which gives you about 15 ft. inside. I added trailer brakes to it because when I bought it I was moving kids to places like Madison Wisconsin, Flagstaff Arizona, Ann Arbor Mich. ect. I felt like the low additional cost was worth the extra stopping power. Of course I was getting it at dealer cost so that helped

Why would you need trailer brakes? Your driving a Ford f150. Some people on this forum think they can out tow a semi truck with their f150. Haha I think you would be making the right call by purchasing a trailer with brakes. You can never go wrong with more brakes. Good luck with your purchase!

Tips from an old man that has pulled just about any thing on wheels.
1 the trailer you are buying will have a 3500 lb axle the axle will have the flange to mount electric brakes so your looking at 2 to 3 hundred dollars for brakes and controller [ a little less if you do the install] cheap insurance.
2 If you plan to travel far buy an extra set of wheel bearings, pack them with grease and stow them in your rig [ I put them in a vacuum sealed food storage bag but a heavy zip lock bag will work.
3 Ditch the LR "C" tires And replace with LR "D" and by all means carry a spare. [ Use one of the "C" tires you took off.
Might sound a little over the top but it sure beats looking for parts on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of nowhere.
