Is there a way to lookup if an engine or transmission has been previously installed?

Only if it is replaced at customer expense. Under base power train warranty ford tells us do NOT register powertrain

Like man is there any quality control anymore?
Even out of parts the engines are no good.
I can see a guy getting disgusted pretty quickly.
