is there a modification you did that wound up not worth the money
there are so many modifications out there for F150s- some inexpensive and some pretty steep- are there any that once you did it you were disappointed in what you got for the money and effort you put in.

After installing some SE type headlights, I tried to match my fogs, and got some smoked housings to replace the OEM. Even with DD SL1's installed, the fogs were more useless than ever. Wound up getting some Morimoto knockoffs for around $75 off EBay. NOT the fault of DD.

I baked open my halogen headlights to paint the inside trim and amber lenses black. I absolutely hate amber anything. While the mod satisfied the distaste for the amber, the effort wasn't worth the results. Unless making major changes to the interior of the headlights, it wasn't worth the effort. I have since changed to Anzos and am extremely happy with them. In fact, I do have a project in the works of baking these open and doing some major modifications.
