Tasca parts

Does anyone have a valid coupon code for tasca parts?

Hoping to get help with a $280 shipping cost for a $650 part.

Thanks in advance!

what is the part number you are getting? You can PM it to me and i can check to see what MSRP is, might be better off going to your local dealer to get it

Make sure Tasca can get it!

In my case 4 days after order they said they could not source the part, and with in next 7 DAYS my credit card would be credited.

Good point, thanks for the heads up!

Spoke to the Tasca guy on the forum @Steve@Tasca and while they were able to discount the order, they're not able to do anything about excessive shipping charges.
Ran into the same thing with a bumper step pad. $80 shipping on a $100 item. I ended up picking it up from a random Ford dealer on eBay with free shipping for the same price.

There are many Ford dealers online. Some spend time making their site work better including providing realistic shipping costs, because the raw data from Ford is awful.. Some don't.

VarsityFordParts.com, Fairwayfordparts.net, and others.

Thanks everyone for the replies and tips. I really appreciate it.
Still working on it and shopping around.

I am trying to purchase an XLT SE grille or STX grille, lead foot in color.

I've had this happen multiple times with Tasca. Better off with ebay IMO.

Try https://www.wholesalefordpartsfast.com/

Use Promo Code COMEBACK for another 5% off $25 max.

Located in Northern Indiana. I was told their shipping is reasonable. They are local to me so I can't say.

You might try and see if a local dealer will price match your best online price. I've had success with that strategy several times.

Tasca’s turnaround times and customer service response were just ok a couple years ago. In my experience, it’s much worse now. Bought something from them about 6 weeks ago; there was a question on their end. They were unreachable by phone, for days, and emails were answered about once every three to four days, with previous related emails cut out so it was tough to keep up with the latest developments. I would avoid buying from them at all costs. Way too many other good Ford vendors out there.

Agreed. I’ve bought a lot of stuff from TASCA over the years, but I’m having customer service issues with them now. Ordered a part, it showed up damaged, and have been trying to get an exchange. Nothing but a disorganized runaround since I first called their customer service about this. I may just cut my losses and get a refund while I still can (minus the absurd restocking fee of course).

TASCA has affiliates that they use or work with to assist in fulfillment of parts, they have no control over them. Not justifying the bad part, just saying. If I were to have an issue, I would go to their vendor page here and PM them.

Good luck!

I ordered the sunroof rails from them last Friday, received an email late yesterday that stated the parts are on a national backorder and I'll have a refund within 7 days. Pretty annoying to waste a few days like that.

lotsof shortages folks don’t want to work.

Tasca has great pricing on parts. Their shipping, IMO, is among the highest in the country. I just looked at a small part and was quoted $13 for shipping...small plastic clups for the radiator cover.

I obviously can’t speak for anyone else, but my issue was with the unresponsiveness of their customer service department. I understand the impact that Covid has had on global supply chains, so the delay in shipping my parts didn’t bother me. Not being able to reach them for days on end by phone or email, and then the haphazard nature of the email responses they finally would send was ridiculous. No need to go to their vendor page- I just won’t do business with them again. Life is too short for bad customer service.

I was buying OEM parts from Tasca 10 years ago or more and was always happy, but I haven't the last few years. As others mention, high shipping charges. Last December I was ordering a new front bumper, the bumper was $420 and shipping $260, + tax. One of the Ford parts sellers on ebay was around $45 for shipping so went that route.

Thanks everyone for the advice and suggestions.
I was able to get a dealer within an hour and a half drive to price match for me.
No shipping costs and competitive price, win win situation :)

I suggested what I did, because it worked for me several months back in the heat of COVID. I had a refund and a canceled order within 4 hours. I think the person that helped me was Linda.

Good luck!

For the few parts I have ordered for my '20 so far Tasca always has the highest cost when it comes to price + shipping. I always buy elsewhere.

NASSTY 03-14-2021 07:05 AM

I've always had good luck with Tasca. I'm only 5 hours away so shipping costs is usually reasonable. None of the local dealers around here discount their parts so I can usually get the parts cheaper with shipping costs through Tasca than I can paying full price locally. There was one time on an extra large item where Tasca's shipping was going to be over $100 so I paid full price for an FX2 air dam at a local dealer.
